About Karl’s Creations
This studio-gallery is definitely eclectic. That word alone is not enticing, but in the case of Karl’s Creations it is very definitely, right on! The definition of the word, ” is to derive ideas, styles or simply colors, shapes and textures from a broad and diverse range of sources, “which is exactly what Karl Williams of Karl’s Creations does. This is depicted not only in the numerous sources he uses but is also represented in the unique and unusual end products. Williams’ amazing ceramic pieces and sculptures are enhanced with copper, leather, cane, glass and other textures, which together gives you, the art enthusiast, a glimpse into his talent, imagination and skills. As a natural artist, Williams has produced art work with wood, glass, clay, steel, and paints separately, but now combines all of these materials together in his pieces. Upon visiting this studio/gallery you will not find the usual or functional, but rather fine art itself. Better yet, with the opportunity to meet him you will clearly see that his talent extends to story telling There is a story behind each creation and you would not want to miss this opportunity and be enthralled with his imagination and vision when he describes what he was experiencing as he sculpted the clay. Before you know it you too, are sharing the enthusiasm and passion right alongside of him.

About the artist
WELCOME! I'm Karl Williams. and thank you for taking the time to look into art. I avoid social media, texting and snap chatting simply because I prefer to establish real relationships with others on a one on one basis. For me, this is the best way for you to know me and for me to make acquaintance with you. I am originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma but have been on the west coast and in Arizona for the past 30 years. Cornville, Arizona is where I spend time in my studio/galley; It is located approximately 10 miles from the red rocks of Sedona and only 5 miles from some of the best wineries in Central Arizona. Therefore, there's plenty for you to see and do once you are able to tear yourself away from my studio. My time spent contemplating the environment during my early morning walks inspires a great deal of my work. This results in many pieces manifesting an organic feel. For me, my art is a way of life. I love designing and sculpting pieces of art. I also fabricate most of the tools I use as well as making my several raku kilns and furnace where I melt the copper used to make lacey-like copper splashes you will see complementing my vases and torsos. I see all of my pieces, as pallets, like the torsos, on which I use to express a woman's strength, purity and complexity. My ability to embrace other styles and designs is shown in my line of owls, ravens, frogs and penguins. I hope you will find time to stop by soon. I look forward to meeting you getting your feedback.
