About the ArtistYour Tour Guide
Vince Adamo
I retired in 2023 from my lifetime career in the software development industry and now spend much more time on my lifetime passion of photography. I began taking pictures for my High School's yearbook and was drawn early to the work of Ansel Adams and Edward Weston. I continued to study and practice the art of black & white landscape photography in film and later in digital format.
My wife and I now live in Marshall, Texas where my daughter and her family live. We also love to travel to Northern Colorado to where my son and his family lives. And while I spend most of my photographic efforts exploring landscapes in Texas and Colorado, I've begun to explore travel and still life photography, as well as more painterly and abstract photographic styles.
Photography, for me, is an artistic, creative expression. With each photograph I attempt to capture a particular emotion, mood or story, often editing the image further in my digital darkroom, with the hope of creating a final image that personally connects with the viewer.
I send my photographs to be printed at a Texas-based fine art photo lab where they use fade-resistant, pigmented inks on either archival, exhibition quality paper such as Moab Exhibition Luster 300 or Hahnemühle Photo Rag, or on professional grade, poly-cotton canvas.
