Ralph Megginson III, is a Visual Fine Artist (Painter, Illustrator) from Lansing, Michigan residing in Las Vegas. His oil and acrylic paintings are part realism, part surrealism. His subjects are frequently famous sports figures, musicians, horse racing and animals.

Megginson started drawing as a child after seeing his mother doodling. Before focusing on sports imagery, the artist used to draw from photos of animals that he'd find in his grandmother's encyclopedias. Megginson received scholarships to arts academies and took college courses starting in the eighth grade from Michigan State University and Interlochen National Music Camp and Arts Academy. He attended a year in Illustration at Kendall School of Design before graduating from Western Michigan University with a major in painting.
