Lori's love for art began during middle school when she became fascinated with drawing. She continued to take art classes throughout high school, but when it came time to choose a career path, she decided to enroll in business classes instead of pursuing art school. It wasn't until early adulthood that she rediscovered her love for creating art and started painting. Previously she's worked in web development, marketing, and peer mental health.

Throughout Lori's journey, she has acquired various techniques from many artists through both one-on-one and group classes, on a wide range of subjects, from still life to color mixing. After taking a few community art classes, she was inspired to take the leap and leave her day job to devote more time to her art.

Lori grew up and now lives in Evansville, Indiana with her husband, daughter, and three cats. When she's not painting, she enjoys writing and being a member of a small art collective. Her work includes both abstract and objective paintings, and she creates in her home studio.
