Laura Brenton is an abstract painter inspired by the unexpected and guided by movement rooted in her dance background. Using brushes, fingers, and mark-making tools, she layers vibrant colors to create works full of energy and stillness. Working primarily in acrylic on canvas, her art explores beauty, mystery, and connection.
Brenton’s work has been featured in Denver Life Magazine, Boulder Lifestyle Magazine, Canvas Rebel, Travel Boulder, and in the book, Creative Sanity. She has exhibited internationally and across Colorado.
