My studio is on the ground floor of an 1890’s home on North Road in Jamestown RI. Jamestown is a small town on an island in the middle of Narragansett Bay with a permanent population of only about five thousand residents. There’s not a lot of industrial space on the island, so I’ve adapted by using space in a residence. It’s small, but I can make it work if I stay organized. Th location is in the village area of the town and I can walk to everything. I don’t get many visitors, but they are welcome when they come.

Christopher T. Terry
Christopher T. Terry was born in Stamford, Connecticut and studied Painting at Rhode Island College and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has exhibited his work throughout the United States and is currently represented by galleries in Manhattan and Charlotte, NC. He is the recipient of numerous awards as a painter including the Utah Visual Artist Fellowship, and a WESTAF/NEA Fellowship in Painting. He has twice been the recipient of a Fulbright Fellowship for Teaching and Research in Germany and in 2000 was a Visiting Artist at the American Academy in Rome.
Terry is currently completing new paintings for an upcoming solo expedition in 2026 at Hidell Brooks Gallery in Charlotte. The gallery has represented him for more than twenty five years.
