I am a contemporary expressionist oil painter creating intuitively. At times I begin with an idea or an emotion, then I surrender to the moment, open to new impressions and allow the colors to flow and bring me something I am excited to share. It is an organic approach allowing the painting and story to evolve layer by layer through the oils, themselves. My work varies from abstract-even mystical to representative – even bold or provocative figurative. I often work on several bodies of work that can take years to evolve. I have exhibited my works since 1994. My works have been featured in solo expositions in Paris, France, Barcelona, Spain, Cadaqués, Spain, and my works have shared group expositions and representation in Berlin, Germany and in New York, San Francisco, Hawaii.
