Christie Helm Studio, located in Jerome and Sedona, AZ is participating in the Sedona Visual Artist Association’s (SVAC) Open Studio Tour from her home studio in the beautiful Red Rocks of Sedona.  The tour runs from April 23-25 and more information can be found at https://sedonaartistscoalition.org/tour-map  Her primary working studio is situated in Building A of the Jerome Art Center at the top of Cleopatra Hill in the historic copper mining town of Jerome, Arizona with views of the Sedona Red Rocks and San Francisco peaks in the distance.  Christie is an artist and designer living in Sedona, AZ.  She serves on the board of both the Sedona Visual Artist Coalition and Piano on the Rocks.  She studied fine art at the University of Colorado, Boulder and the Distinguished Scholar program at the Art Institute of Chicago.  She has exhibited her work in New York, Illinois, Texas, Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, California, Michigan, France, England and Brazil.

Much of Helm’s practice is focused on the study of light and color particularly as it applies to the aesthetic concept of the sublime.
