It began with a dream, a dream of preserving Arizona’s beautiful mountains, lakes, streams old buildings and a way of life that was fast being paved over and lost for future generations. This armed with a solid education in fine art from ASU and Scottsdale Artist’s School she moved from studio painting to plein air painting to capture the fleeting beauty of the Southwest.
There is nothing more brilliant and colorful than an Arizona Sunset or Sunrise illuminating the Arizona Mountains. To try and capture this brilliance in oil paintings is a challenge to my artist capabilities and which challenge I welcome.
