As you walk into my studio you will be hit with art all over, on the wall, within a 4-tier shelf, in a basket, so look high and low. Here you can find something for everyone. Welcome to my creative, comfortable, warm studio that calms the soul and soothes the heart. Here my art on pure white historic marble, is transformed into loving artistic touches. The beautiful marble can be hung on the wall or sit on your desk or end table to brighten everyone who sets their eyes on them. The sizes are smaller handheld pieces which can travel well in your suitcase or can be easily shipped via priority mail.
My name is LEANNE LEE from the Midwest to Colorado to the Southwest. I am a self-taught artist. I traded regular canvas for this stunning pure white marble! This is where “Art on Marble” had been born. When I paint with oils, I use all aspects of this beautiful stone. Nature is my inspiration. My subject matter includes wildlife, the scenic mountain beauty of Colorado and the desert raw picturesque areas of Arizona. I obtain my raw marble from the same quarry in Marble Colorado that produces the highest quality of stunning white marble in the world. It has been used in our National Monuments, such as The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and The Lincoln Memorial.
I have exhibited my art in such local shows as Big Gay Art Show, Renegades Show, The Paragon People’s fair in Crested Butte, Colorado and Lake City Art Festival in Colorado. I am a member of the Sedona Valley Artists Coalition and have participated in the Open Studio Tours. In August we hope to have another Open Studio Tour start up again. These tours are usually held in the Spring and Fall. Currently I am showing at the Sedona Art Center where I am a member. Also, I have shown my work at the Mountain Artists Guild in Prescott, Az. and am a member there as well.

About the ArtistYour Tour Guide
Leanne Lee
I have had a love of different art forms since my mid-twenties. The
Ancient Art of Scrimshaw, India Ink paintings on wood, and Copper
Foil Stained Glass were some areas that I dabbled in. I consider
myself a self- taught artist due to only taking a few art classes.
Lifestyle changes, moving from Illinois to Colorado and raising three
boys altered my art. Then I had the opportunity to tour the Yule
Marble Quarry. I traded my regular canvas for this stunning pure
white marble. It has allowed me to expand into my “Art on Marble”
using all aspects of this beautiful stone. My favorite subjects for oil
painting include wildlife and the scenic mountain beauty of Colorado
and the desert raw picturesque areas of Arizona. These places give
me some phenomenal subject matter.
My marble comes from the Yule Marble Quarry located in the
majestic high mountains of Marble, Colorado. Here, our nation
acquired this pure marble for well-known national monuments. The
Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, and The Lincoln Memorial. In
Arizona, the Mohave County Court House in Kingman also contains
this wonderful white marble along with many other monuments.

I am also available for "Pet Portraits". Just give me the best picture of your loving pet and I will paint it on Pure Marble! Commission work also cheerfully accepted!
